Swedish artist Camilla Engman’s work is an eclectic mix—paintings, illustrations, mixed media, and collections. Above are a few of my favorites. Her paintings are kind of creepy—lots of landlocked boats and faceless, miserable looking people. Her illustrations are a bit quirkier, though, and I love the mixed media piece with the envelopes (it’s called “The Suburbs”), brought to my attention by the lovely Sarah Hedgis.
