Of course, the bear is for my couch. Who around here is into whales? (It’s okay to speak up, even though everyone’s gaga for sharks this week!)

It’s a busy week around here. Have lots of training (and my first class!) for the new teaching job. Last night Mr. Husband and I took a trip to our sad local Borders to explore the markdowns. I got the whole set of Harry Potter books, and Jake found a book about the History of Time or something equally as vast and incredible. The man in front of us in line was whining at the sales associate about how expensive Rosetta Stone still was. “Hardly a markdown. I can get it cheaper on Amazon.” I suppose he hadn’t checked the back of the store, where a sign on the bathroom door said “BATHROOMS OUT OF SERVICE. TRY AMAZON.COM.”

Sigh.
