Daniel Egneus was born in Sweden in 1972, and has no formal artistic training (can you believe that?). His illustrations are intensely beautiful—I’m especially fond of his “Mad Hatter” series, crossing the human with the animal. His “Italian Rooms” series is also wonderful—Egneus paints wildness and complexity into indoor settings.

Yesterday evening was spent fiddling with the television (we now get channels in Chinese AND Spanish!) and picking on the dog. And, as promised, a garden update—we have a tiny leafy appearance! Onward into Wednesday—is this week seeming long to anyone else?
