I had the most excellent weekend. Lots of lazing around on Saturday and running around on Sunday. Inspired by our friend Katie, Jake’s decided to give apartment gardening a go. He calls it his “victory garden,” though I imagine it’ll be more like a Moses jungle. So far he’s just planted spinach and lettuces, but I’m pushing for basil, cilantro, and mint.

I’ll let you know if anything pops up through the potting soil!
